Aurora’s 1963 The Mummy kit is one of the most atmospheric of the Universal Monsters model kits — the shambling Mummy, arms outstretched, rising from his tomb. This example is the real vintage deal: a complete, unbuilt kit, Model No. 427-98, with its parts shown laid out in the listing photos.
What you see is what you would be building: the white unpainted parts on their sprues, the illustrated box and the instruction sheet, photographed on the seller’s green backdrop. Nothing has been assembled or painted, so this is a proper bench project for a collector who wants to build a 1963 Aurora kit the way it was meant to be built.
This complete unbuilt example is listed on eBay at US $189.99 (plus US $12.70 delivery, as shown on the listing). Unbuilt and complete 1963 Aurora Mummy kits are getting harder to find — check all 19 listing photos before it is gone.
