Mego’s Wolfman is the hairiest of the 1974 Mad Monsters — and this original example is complete on the first-release Type 1 body, with its metal-rivet construction and Mego Corp. markings. The green tunic, fur-trimmed cuffs and snarling 1974 head make it one of the most recognizable 8-inch monsters ever made.
Be honest about condition, as the seller is: the body holds a pose and the joints are all good, the suit has good colour with no holes, rips or runs found, and there is minor paint loss on the head. The seller also notes the eyes show bubbling and melting, but they still glow in the dark — check the listing’s 12 photos closely, including the close-up of the face.
This complete original Mego Wolfman is listed on eBay at US $129.88 (plus US $9.99 shipping, as shown on the listing). Type 1 bodies in this condition are the ones collectors hunt for.
